Terms and Conditions
(Applicable to Fullscape Designs Ltd and trading brands Resin 8 and It’s Not Grass)

- General
1.1 Fullscape Designs Ltd (“the Company”), including its trading brands Resin 8 and It’s Not Grass, provides landscaping, hardscaping, surfacing, and related services.
1.2 By accepting a quotation or placing an order, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
- Quotations & Payment
2.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
2.2 Payment terms are agreed in advance and set out in the quotation.
2.3 Staged payments must be made promptly as works progress. Failure to make payment may result in suspension of works.
2.4 Final payment is due immediately upon completion of works.
- Defects & Reporting Period
3.1 All works are signed off with the Client upon completion.
3.2 Any concerns or defects must be reported in writing within 7 days of completion.
3.3 After this period, the Company cannot accept liability, as defects may be caused by external factors.
3.4 Remedial works requested after this period may incur additional charges.
- Warranty & Limitations
4.1 Resin driveways, tarmac, and paving are designed for domestic vehicles only (up to 3.5 tonnes gross weight).
4.2 Any use by vehicles exceeding this weight will void the warranty.
4.3 The Company is not responsible for subsidence or damage caused by heavy vehicles, trailers, skips, or plant machinery.
4.4 Natural materials (stone, timber, turf, aggregates) will vary in colour, shade, and texture. Such variations are not defects.
4.5 Turf, decking, resin, and artificial grass require proper maintenance. Failure to follow aftercare advice voids any warranty.
4.6 The Company cannot accept liability for damage caused by:
- Oils, fuels, de-icing salts, or chemicals
- Tyre scuffing, hot tyres, or heavy loads
- Extreme weather (frost, heat, flooding, standing water)
- Misuse or neglect
- Underground Services
5.1 The Company will take care when carrying out excavation works.
5.2 The Client must disclose all known underground services (pipes, drains, cables, tanks, etc.) in writing before works begin.
5.3 The Company accepts no liability for damage caused to undisclosed or inaccurately mapped services.
- Drainage
6.1 All works will be laid to industry-standard falls and levels.
6.2 The Company is not responsible for pre-existing drainage issues or water pooling outside the areas of work.
- Site Access & Working Conditions
7.1 The Client must ensure adequate access for vehicles, deliveries, and machinery.
7.2 While care will be taken, the Company cannot be held responsible for minor damage to lawns, driveways, walls, fences, or access routes caused during normal operations.
7.3 Any reinstatement of such areas is the Client’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
- Structural Works (Walls, Fencing, Retaining)
8.1 All walls, fences, and retaining structures are built to domestic landscaping standards only.
8.2 They are not designed to bear additional loads (such as buildings, hot tubs, vehicles, or heavy equipment) unless specified in writing.
- Third-Party & Client-Supplied Items
9.1 The Company cannot accept responsibility for damage to completed works caused by third parties (other contractors, deliveries, or vehicles).
9.2 Where the Client supplies materials or structures (e.g. pergolas, planters, furniture), the Company accepts no responsibility for defects, failure, or warranties relating to those items.
- Curing & Aftercare
10.1 Resin and tarmac installations must not be driven on for at least 48 hours after completion (or longer if advised).
10.2 Turf must be watered regularly and protected until fully established.
10.3 Decking requires sealing/treating as advised.
10.4 Artificial grass requires regular brushing and maintenance to maintain its appearance.
10.5 The Client is responsible for following all aftercare guidance supplied.
- Delays & Force Majeure
11.1 Works may be delayed by weather, supply issues, or circumstances beyond the Company’s control.
11.2 The Company will not be liable for delays caused by such events.
- Liability
12.1 The Company’s liability is limited to the value of the contract.
12.2 The Company will not be held liable for indirect or consequential losses.
